This drawing reflects the turbulent journey I faced with gastrointestinal issues during high school, particularly the constant cycle of "medicinal cocktails" prescribed to me in an attempt to manage my symptoms. Each prescription, each new treatment, became a daily ritual, yet none fully addressed the underlying struggle. Through this piece, I aim to visually express the disjointed, overwhelming feeling of being caught in a cycle of medication and uncertainty. This work serves as both a personal reflection and a broader commentary on the complexities of chronic illness and the search for healing.
