A work that honors the truth that cultural links do not diminish simply because someone does not speak the native tongue—for example, Spanish. Pradera aims to draw attention to her own experiences of being ridiculed, judged, and made to feel guilty for not being knowledgeable in the Spanish language as a first generation Cuban American. The piece conveys the idea that, despite her lack of certain abilities, she is "no less Cuban" than her peers or family members. She is a proud Cubana and wants to embrace the message for other people going experiencing similar cultural identity conflicts.
