Her Truism No. 4

As a heavy romantic and empath, Pradera's heartbreak is highlighted in this painting. Using personal stories as a springboard, she brings attention to the fact that not everyone will receive or have the opportunity to be loved by the individuals they love most. Not every love story is designed to come to fruition. Some are supposed to be affirmations of one's value as a person and chances for one's love to be a gift to someone else. In spite of the pain in one's heart, the artwork suggests that all one needs to do in those times of heartbreak is pack their bags, keep their head high, and move on.
